A lot of people are searching for the official Binance app download page. Binance is a cryptocurrency trading platform, and downloading its app is straightforward — just go to the Binance official website to find the download link. The official Binance APP is compatible with all mainstream Android models. iPhone users can check out our iOS installation guide — this article focuses on Android.
Why Can't I Find It in the App Store?
First-time Binance users instinctively search their phone's built-in app store, only to find nothing. This is because certain regional app stores have policy restrictions that prevent cryptocurrency trading apps from being listed. You won't find it in regional app stores regardless of the brand.
This doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the Binance app — it's simply how certain regional app store policies work. In many countries, Binance is readily available on Google Play and the App Store with no issues.
So Android users in restricted regions can only install the app by downloading the APK file manually.
How to Download from the Official Website
Prerequisites
Make sure your phone meets these requirements:
- Android version 5.0 or above
- At least 200MB of free storage space
- Stable network connection
Visit the Official Website
Open your phone's browser and type the official URL directly into the address bar. We must stress: always type the URL manually — don't click through links from search engine results. The top results may include ads or phishing links.
Download the APK File
On the official website, find the download section and select the Android version to begin downloading. You'll get an APK file, typically between 60MB and 90MB. With a normal connection speed, it should finish in one to two minutes.
Set Up Installation Permissions
Android blocks installation of apps that don't come from the app store by default. You'll need to manually enable your browser's installation permission.
Path: Phone Settings → Security/App Management → Install Unknown Apps → Select your browser → Allow
You only need to do this once. However, for safety, it's best to turn this permission off again after installation.
Install the App
After enabling the permission, go back to your browser's download list, tap the APK file, and the system will show an installation confirmation dialog. Tap "Install" and it'll be done in a few seconds — the Binance icon will appear on your home screen.
Initial Setup After Opening the App
Switch to Your Preferred Language
If the app opens in a language you don't prefer, don't worry. Find the user icon in the top left corner or the settings option, go to the Language setting, and select your preferred language.
Register a New Account
If you don't have a Binance account yet, you'll need to register one. There are two registration methods:
Email registration: Enter a valid email address and a login password. The system will send a verification code to your email. Enter the code to complete registration.
Phone registration: Select your country code, enter your phone number and password, and the system will send an SMS verification code.
Email registration is recommended, as many subsequent security verifications go through email, and email verification codes have a higher delivery success rate than SMS.
Complete KYC Verification
Complete identity verification as soon as possible after registration. This step requires:
- Selecting your nationality
- Uploading photos of both sides of your ID
- Completing facial recognition
Once verified, your account restrictions will be lifted and you can use all features.
Tips for Beginners
Explore Before You Trade
Don't rush to deposit money right after registration. Take some time to browse the app and understand what each feature does. Tap "Markets" at the bottom to see real-time price charts for various cryptocurrencies, and tap "Trade" to see the buy/sell interface layout.
Start Small
For your first trade, start with a small amount — for example, buy a few dollars' worth of USDT (a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar). This lets you get familiar with the entire trading flow, including placing orders, trade execution, and viewing your positions.
Set Up Security
Binding Google Authenticator, setting a fund password, and enabling the anti-phishing code — these three are the most fundamental security measures and should all be completed. Also, set a complex login password with at least uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters, with a minimum length of 12 characters.
Don't Trust Strangers
After installation, you may receive messages from strangers claiming they can help you make money or guide your trades. These are 100% scams — ignore them. Official Binance support will never proactively contact you asking for passwords or requesting transfers.
Common Installation Issues
"App not installed" during installation: This is likely due to insufficient storage or a corrupted APK file. Free up some space on your phone and re-download.
Icon disappears after installation: Some phones place newly installed apps in the app drawer rather than the home screen. Search for "Binance" in your app list to find it.
White or black screen after opening: Force-close the app and reopen it. If the problem persists, clear the app's cache: long-press the app icon → App Info → Storage → Clear Cache.
