Installing the Binance app on an iPhone does require a few more steps compared to Android, but following the right process makes it straightforward. First, remember that getting the official Binance APP from the Binance official website is the safest approach. For more detailed iOS steps, check our iOS installation guide.
What Makes iPhone Installation Different
Android users can download an APK file and install directly, but iPhones require all apps to go through the App Store. The issue is that due to varying regional policies, the Binance app may not appear in your region's App Store.
That's why many iPhone users find installation challenging. But don't worry — there are solutions.
Method 1: Switch Your App Store Region
This is the most commonly used method. You'll need an Apple ID from another region, such as the US, Hong Kong, or Japan.
Register an Overseas Apple ID
Use a new email to register a new Apple ID, selecting a different country/region during registration. You'll need to enter an address from that country — you can find a valid one online.
You don't need to add a credit card since the Binance app is free to download.
Switch the App Store
Open the App Store, tap your profile icon in the top right, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Sign Out." Then sign in with your new overseas Apple ID.
After signing in, the App Store content switches to that region. Now search for "Binance" and you'll find the official app.
Download and Install
Find the Binance app and tap "Get" to begin downloading. The installation process is the same as any other app — wait for it to finish and the icon will appear on your home screen.
Switch Back to Your Original Account
After installation, you can switch back to your regular Apple ID. Apps already installed won't be affected and will work normally. However, when you need to update the app in the future, you'll need to switch to the Apple ID used for the original download.
Method 2: Use TestFlight
Binance sometimes provides a TestFlight version for installation. TestFlight is Apple's official testing distribution platform, and apps installed through it are safe.
How to use: Download TestFlight from the App Store first, then get the TestFlight invitation link from the Binance website. Tapping the link will redirect to TestFlight where you can install the Binance app.
Note that TestFlight versions may have a participant limit — you may need to wait when slots are full.
Method 3: Web Bookmark on Home Screen
If the above methods aren't convenient, you can use Safari to access Binance's web trading platform and add it to your home screen. While it's not a native app, the experience is fairly close.
How to: Open the Binance website in Safari, tap the share button at the bottom, and select "Add to Home Screen." An icon will appear on your home screen that opens the web version in full-screen mode.
Important Notes During Installation
Apple ID Security
If you borrowed someone else's overseas Apple ID for downloading, make sure to sign out and switch back to your own account immediately after. Don't keep someone else's Apple ID logged in long-term — there are privacy risks.
Also, never sign into someone else's account in Settings → Apple ID. That location syncs with iCloud, and the other person could remotely lock your phone. App Store login and Settings login are separate — only switch within the App Store.
Trusting Enterprise Certificates
Some channels may offer enterprise certificate installation. After installing, you'll need to go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management to manually trust the certificate before the app will open.
However, we don't recommend this method. Enterprise certificates can be revoked by Apple at any time, rendering the app unusable, and the security isn't as guaranteed as the App Store version.
System Version Requirements
The Binance app typically requires iOS 13.0 or higher. If your iPhone's iOS version is too old, you may not be able to install the latest app. Check in Settings → General → Software Update.
What to Do After Installation
After installing, open the app and switch to your preferred language first. If it defaults to English, the login/registration page usually has a language switch option.
Then register or sign into your account. The iPhone app has all the same features as the Android version — your account works across all devices.
We recommend enabling Face ID or Touch ID login so you don't have to manually enter your password every time — it's both convenient and secure.
How to Update the App
When a new version is released, you'll need to switch to the Apple ID used during the original download to update. If switching every time feels like a hassle, create your own overseas Apple ID for long-term use.
You can also delay updates and batch them — switch over, update, then switch back. Just don't wait too long between updates, as new versions include important security fixes.
