Looking for a thorough Binance download tutorial? This guide covers every step from download to installation to configuration. Your first step is to visit the Binance official website and get the official Binance APP installer. Apple device users can check our iOS installation guide — this tutorial covers Android only.
Before You Start
Binance is the world's largest cryptocurrency trading platform by volume, serving over 100 million users. The app supports spot trading, futures, earn products, NFTs, and more.
Due to policy reasons, this app isn't listed in certain regional Android app stores, so you'll need to download the APK from the official website and install manually. This installation method is fundamentally the same as installing from an app store — just with one extra authorization step.
Detailed Download Tutorial
Step 1: Confirm the Official Website Address
This is the most critical step. Make sure you're visiting the real Binance website, not an imitation:
- Type the domain directly into your browser's address bar — don't use search engines
- Check for the padlock icon (HTTPS encryption) in the address bar
- Verify the page content looks normal and complete
Step 2: Find the Download Section
On the official website, you can find the download link in several ways:
- The "Download" menu in the top navigation bar
- A "Download APP" button in the banner area
- App download links in the page footer
All three lead to the same download page.
Step 3: Select the Correct Version
The download page lists versions for all platforms:
- Android APK: Direct installer download
- Google Play: Redirect to Google Play Store
- iOS App Store: Redirect to Apple App Store
- Windows: Desktop client
- macOS: Mac client
- Linux: Linux client
Android users should select "Android APK."
Step 4: Download the Installer
After tapping download, your browser begins downloading the APK file. You'll see:
- A download progress bar at the bottom of Chrome
- Or download progress in the notification bar
The file is typically 50–80MB, finishing in one to two minutes on Wi-Fi.
Step 5: Authorize Installation
After downloading, tap to install. The system will show a security prompt because Android blocks non-store installations by default.
Android 8.0 and above:
- Tap "Settings" when prompted
- Enable "Allow from this source"
- Return to the installation page
- Tap "Install" again
Android 7.0 and below:
- Go to phone Settings
- Find "Security"
- Enable "Unknown sources"
- Confirm and return to install
Step 6: Wait for Installation
After tapping install, the progress bar runs — usually a few seconds to ten seconds. When finished, choose "Open" to launch the app or "Done" to return to the home screen.
App Configuration
Installation is just the first step — configuration is equally important.
Language Settings
First launch may default to English. To switch:
- Tap the profile icon in the top left
- Find "Language"
- Select your preferred language
Push Notification Settings
We recommend enabling these notifications:
- Price movement alerts
- Order execution notifications
- Security alerts (login, withdrawal, etc.)
Configure in App Settings → Notifications.
Interface Theme
The app supports light and dark themes, switchable in settings. Dark theme is easier on the eyes at night.
Trading Preferences
If you mainly do spot trading, set the default home page to the spot trading view. For futures traders, set it to the futures page. This way the app opens directly to your most-used feature.
Security Configuration (Critical)
Do not skip this section.
Set Up Two-Factor Authentication
Path: Profile → Security Center → Two-Factor Authentication
We recommend Google Authenticator over SMS — it's more secure. Setup process:
- Download the Google Authenticator app
- In the Binance app, select "Bind Google Authenticator"
- Scan the QR code or manually enter the key
- Enter the 6-digit code generated by Authenticator to verify
Set Up Anti-Phishing Code
Path: Profile → Security Center → Anti-Phishing Code
Set a memorable phrase. All future official Binance emails will contain this phrase. If an email doesn't include your phrase, it's a phishing attempt.
Set Up Withdrawal Whitelist
Once enabled, withdrawals can only go to pre-approved addresses. Even if your account is compromised, assets can't be transferred to unknown addresses.
That covers the complete Binance download tutorial. While the steps may look numerous, the actual process is quick — about five minutes for download and installation, plus ten minutes for basic configuration, and you're ready to go.
