If you've never touched cryptocurrency before, using the Binance app for the first time might feel overwhelming. Don't worry — registration is as simple as signing up for any other app. Just download the official Binance APP from the Binance official website and follow the steps below. iPhone users have a slightly different installation process — check our iOS installation guide first.

Detailed Registration Steps
Step 1: Download and Install
If you haven't installed the app yet, download it from the official website. Android users download the APK directly; iPhone users follow the iOS guide.
Step 2: Open the App
Tap the icon to open. First launch may take a moment to load. Allow notification permissions when prompted — useful for security alerts. Camera permission is needed later for identity verification.
Step 3: Choose Language
If the interface isn't in your preferred language, switch it before proceeding. Language options are usually available on the login page or in settings.
Step 4: Tap Register
Find and tap the "Sign Up" or "Register" button on the login page.
Step 5: Choose Registration Method
Email registration (recommended): More stable, works across devices regardless of phone number changes. Use Gmail or Outlook for best results.
Phone registration: Simpler with faster verification code delivery. But changing phone numbers later requires extra steps.
Step 6: Fill In Your Information
- Enter your email or phone number
- Set a password (8+ characters, mix of uppercase, lowercase, and numbers)
- Confirm password
- Enter invitation/referral code if you have one
Step 7: Agree to Terms
Check the terms of service and privacy policy, then tap "Register."
Step 8: Complete CAPTCHA
Complete the puzzle or slider verification to prove you're human.
Step 9: Enter Verification Code
The system sends a 6-digit code to your email or phone. Check your inbox (including spam folder for email) or wait for the SMS. Enter the code — it's valid for 10-30 minutes.
Step 10: Registration Complete
Once the code is verified, congratulations — your account is ready. The app auto-logs you in.
First Thing After Registration
Set Up Security (Critical)
Bind Google Authenticator:
- Download Google Authenticator from your app store
- In the Binance app, go to Security Settings
- Find Google Authenticator and tap Enable
- Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator
- Enter the 6-digit dynamic code shown
- Binding complete
Critical: During binding, the system displays a backup key. Write it down and store it safely. If you lose your phone without this key, you won't be able to recover your authenticator.
Bind both email and phone for maximum security.
Complete Identity Verification (KYC)
- Go to Profile → Identity Verification
- Select your country/region
- Choose ID type
- Upload front and back photos of your ID
- Complete facial recognition
- Wait for review
Identity verification is required for trading. Without it, you can only view market data.
Explore the Interface
Spend a few minutes familiarizing yourself with the app's sections:
- Home: Trending markets and quick access features
- Markets: Real-time prices and charts
- Trade: Where buying and selling happens
- Wallet: View assets, deposit, and withdraw
- Profile: Account settings and security
Common Beginner Mistakes to Avoid
Weak passwords: Don't use simple passwords for convenience. Use a password manager for complex passwords.
Skipping 2FA: Password-only login is unsafe. Always enable Google Authenticator.
Registering on public Wi-Fi: Don't register or operate your account on public networks. Use your own mobile data or home Wi-Fi.
Not backing up authenticator key: Losing the Google Authenticator key means potentially being locked out of your account. Always back it up.
Rushing to trade: Don't deposit money immediately after registration. Learn the basics first, practice, and trade only when you're ready.
